Resilient Politics: A Brief Reflection

Resilience is our ability to rise to challenges and bounce back from adversity. If you are like me, our current political climate feels like the exact opposite of resilient.

It seems like we are stuck in a quagmire we can’t climb out of.

Solving our political problems is not the work of one person. It is the work of all of us.  To be honest, I don’t know exactly how to solve these problems, but I do know the place to start solving them and the place to start building political resilience.

The starting place is reflected in the words of a Quaker gentleman who wrote these ideas in the 1600s in England. They are just as applicable today as they were then.  I share them with you today because they give me political hope and vision. Perhaps they will do the same for you.
